BCED COMMENCES AVIATION PROGRAM

The Babcock Centre for Executive Development has commenced a professional MBA programme in Aviation Studies.

This is courtesy of a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) involving Babcock, Sabre Network Limited and Alpha First Travel & Tourism Academy. The programme with specialization in Airlines & Travel Management is expected to bridge the gap between the ivory tower and the industry as well as create a paradigm shift in aviation operations. Beyond professionalism, this places Babcock as the first and only university in Africa to run such programme. Within the first year, the programme which runs with the University’s postgraduate modular semester cal-endar has experi-enced an increase in admission from eight to 15 students.

According to the Director of BCED, Prof. Johnson Egwakhe, the course is a pocket-friendly, four-semester programme which runs at weekends close to the target market in Lagos.
