Oyo State speaker thanks God for Babcock

The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Debo Ogundoyin has expressed his eagerness to see a close collaboration between Babcock and the state on many fronts. This came up as the President/Vice Chancellor, Professor Ademola Tayo led a four-man delegation on a courtesy visit to the Speaker.

Honourable Ogundoyin, a Babcock graduate of Agriculture and industrial Technology, thanked the team for the visit and attributed part of his success story to some of the values he learned from Babcock.

“I want to thank God who made it possible for me to attend Babcock University,” he noted. “Only He knows what I would have become today if I didn’t attend the University.”

Professor Tayo, accompanied by three other officers, Senior Vice President Management Services, Prof. Sunday Owolabi, Vice President Financial Administration, Dr. Folorunsho Akande and Vice President Student Development, Prof. Joseph Olanrewaju, said the visit was mainly to identify with the University’s alumnus.

He said it also provided opportunity to rub minds on a number of mutually beneficial areas as well as “project Babcock’s core values.”
