An international collaborative initiative between Babcock University, Nigeria and University of Venda, South Africa. Professor Addmore Shonhai, a distinguished Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Venda visited BU on July 7 to 9, 2019. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Babcock University and the University of Venda has since been signed. During his visit, he gave a stimulating lecture on “Heat shock protein arsenal against human host” at the Anatomy Lobby, Benjamin S. Carson (Snr.) School of Medicine. His presentation was captivating and engaging and raised a lot of discussions. The Department of Biochemistry now has an agreement to collaborate with Professor Addmore Shonhai on joint project supervision e. t. c.
