The graduation week kicked off to a beautiful start as the first day started with a bang for the alumni connectivity, ushering in guests like Miss Beverly Osu, a superstar actress, and an Entrepreneur, also in the lineup was Mr. Uzonna Nwangwa, GMD/CEO Irvin Global and investment group who spoke extensively on the Theme “Igniting Connections, Fueling Success”.

The President Vice Chancellor, Professor Ademola S. Tayo, Welcomed the Guests with a guard of honor at the University premises, congratulating them on the feats they have achieved. Speaking with the Zircon graduating class, he urged them to listen attentively and gain from the experience of the Alumni as they are about to be in the labor market.

Miss Beverly Osu, a Nollywood actress who is also an alumnus of the Institution, expressed her excitement with the growth of the university and the zeal portrayed by the institution and she is proud to be a part of Babcock. She spoke about the importance of networking and staying connected with alumni. She urged the graduating class to take advantage of the university's alumni network, which is a valuable resource for finding jobs, getting advice, and making connections.

The CEO of Irvin Global, Mr Uzonna Nwangwa who is a graduate of Theology from Babcock University has lots of accolades to his name, a seasoned banker, an entrepreneur of high repute, and many more. He appraised the importance of holistic education. He shared his own story of how his Babcock education helped him to develop the skills and knowledge he needed to succeed in his career. He urged the graduating class to be resilient and never be afraid to take risks.

The alumni connectivity event was a great way for the graduating class to connect with alumni and learn from their experiences. It was also a chance for the alumni to give back to the university and inspire the next generation of leaders.
