The 24th undergraduate matriculation ceremony of Babcock University was held on Friday, June 23, 2023. A total of 3727 students took the oath of matriculation, signifying their formal admission into the university.

In his address to the matriculating students, Professor Ademola Tayo congratulated them on their admission to Babcock University and urged them to make the most of their time at the university.

"The joy of being matriculated is that you know exactly when you are graduating," said Professor Tayo. "So, make the most of your time here. Study hard, get involved in extracurricular activities, and make lifelong friends."

Professor Tayo also advised the students against cultism and hooliganism. "Babcock University is a Christian university, and we do not tolerate cultism or hooliganism," he said.

The matriculation ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Philemon Amanze, and other principal officers.

The ceremony was a reminder of Babcock University's steadfast dedication to providing an environment that fosters academic excellence, personal development, and the pursuit of knowledge.
