SECOND PERSONALITY LECTURE

Babcock University hosted the second personality lecture on Disruptive Leadership and Sustainability. The guest speaker, Mr. Egube Samuel, the Honorable Commissioner for Planning and Budget of Lagos state, delivered an enlightening and inspiring lecture, highlighting the importance of pursuing one's dreams.

Mr. Egube's lecture was inspiring as he shared his personal experience of overcoming challenges and pursuing his dreams to become a successful leader. He pointed out that everyone has the potential to achieve their dreams, irrespective of their background or circumstances, and that it is crucial to have faith in oneself and take determined actions to turn those dreams into a reality.

The Commissioner also emphasized the significance of sustainability, which he defined as being able to meet present demands without compromising future generations' ability to meet their own needs. He noted that sustainable development requires a plan for the future, a commitment to social, economic, and environmental sustainability, and a willingness to collaborate and share knowledge and resources.

Mr. Egube concluded his lecture by emphasizing the significance of pursuing one's dreams and the importance of disruptive leadership in attaining sustainable development. He urged the audience to believe in themselves, take risks, and pursue their goals with courage. In their pursuit of sustainable development, he also exhorted them to adopt a long-term perspective, collaborate with others, and embrace innovation and creativity.
