The National University Commission of Nigeria was present at Babcock University to oversee the affairs of the University and give situation reports, and make recommendations for the university to move forward.

The Panel, having gone round to some departments of the University which is required  by the NUC, looked at the curriculum, aims, and objectives and were very pleased. Talking about the school facilities, classroom, accommodation for staff, and the library was very impressive which result in a pass mark.

In the recommendation, the NUC has advised that more Hard copy Journals be available at the Library for others to read, they further suggested that some more courses be included that deal with Civil Engineering and some software for design purposes.
