The Vice-Chancellor and other Board members of Babcock University went around the School to commission various projects for the University.

Planting of trees behind the Laz Otti Library, which was said to bring vitality and wouldn’t want the place to be bare

The Ben Carson Health and Medical science building was  commissioned, followed by the Newly Built Alumni Building. Chief Owolabi Shitta who played a significant part in the construction of the building, stated that the construction was started in 2015 and got to this state with the help of God and board members.

The Babcock Microfinance Bank was also commissioned, in a short speech, the VC Professor Ademola Tayo stated that it was high time a bank was built due to the growth of the University.

Other commissioning that took place within the University were the Topaz Hall Hostel, Winslow Hall, the Newly Elevated Water Tank, Buccodel Building, Diamond Hall, Staff Quarters, Pioneer Building, and the Radiology Department of the Hospital
