23rd MATRICULATION CEREMONY

Babcock University held its matriculation ceremony for the 2021/2022 100 level and direct entry students. The Matriculation exercise where the admission process of students are being formalized and ascertained as full students of the institution. The 23rd matriculation ceremony witnessed a total of 3139 matriculating students.

The vice chancellor Professor Ademola Tayo in his address congratulated the matriculating students and wished them well in their endeavors, talking about the diversity, enrolling students all over Africa who have come to gain academic degrees within a speculated period of time.

The Vice Chancellor shared Testimonies of the good works going on within the University even between staff, Dr Ebiesuwa Seun who emerged as the Best Lecturer on a national scale. While ending his Speech, the Professor Ademola Tayo has assured quality education in the University.

The Senior Vice President, Professor Philemon Amanze, who stated the essence of Matriculation as the first step in their academic lives and looking forward to getting to the Convocation. He congratulated those matriculating and appreciated the parent for their efforts.

Awards were presented to the student with the highest Jamb score in 2021 UTME, Ikinwot Uduak, with the total score of 325 (Computer Science), the overall best student in the Pre degree program 2021 Okubote Ifeoluwa with a 5.0 CGPA, and Adebawojo Mosopefoluwa who got the highest score in JUPEB programme, 15 points.
