The Post Graduate student of Babcock University Law School organized a pro bono program at the Law School consisting of Professors and Law student. The pro bono program was about the Law clinic, its essence, criminal matters and civil matters.

Mrs Oluwakemi Ayanleye who spoke on the Essence of a Law clinic, it is a place to gain hands-on experience before entering the job force. Various skills like client counseling skills, research skills, Oral presentation and others are learnt before representing a client. Also speaking on the essence for a law clinic, she made reference to the medical schools having Laboratories they practice in which can be likened to the Law clinic.

Mrs Adeejat Kolawole elucidated on the law clinic for Criminal matters, stating that the Law clinic follows up on cases to ensure that appropriate justice is granted, the Law clinics are generally Pro bono, and they offer free legal services to clients.

Roland Otaru (SAN) discussed the law clinic for Civil matters and explained how it puts in place free services on issues that are civil which are solved free of charge. Projects are being executed, Law awareness campaign, advocacy visits and much more to be offered.
