Babcock University received a Professor of Political Science from the University of California, USA, Professor Kelechi Amihe Kalu. He is also the founding Vice Provost of International Affairs, University of California. He was of the motive on how to help the young ones to Guidance and how to move the youths to responsible positions in the world. He gave a lecture on Public Policy and National Development.

In his lecture, Professor Kalu talked on having a working policy to make for development in the country, without these policies and a body to check them, nothing would seem to work efficiently. Listing some of the policies that were not placed on check, Operation feed the nation, Vision2020 and others. These policies that are not been checked undermines Nigeria’s economic development, he recommends that we promote sustainable development going forward

Professor Kalu talked on Transformational policies. Like the NYSC, which is a welcomed development is supposed to bring together all ethnicities, gender, to create a synergy, imbibing sensitivity of difference as an advantage, going for different tribes as a mixture.
