BABCOCK UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL AND CULTURAL DAY PROGRAM

It was a colorful event on the 29th of March 2022 at the Cultural day for international students who showcased their beautiful attires and traditions at the event. Student from different Nationalities were present to represent their country. We had students from Canada, Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia and a lot more.

In the Opening remark of the Student support, He stated that events like this are memorable because it brings the togetherness of various people together, it helps to interact and in identifying challenges faced and helps to tackle them. He encouraged them to make use of the time spent and create memories at events like this because memories last forever.

Miss Mbassana Deborah Roseline an International student, stated that a project has been launched “wings to fly”. A project for international students, to receive donations for the students , to make things easier for them while outside their own country.

Mrs Ebun Emilogun, an Alunmi of Babcock University International student stated the need to diversification as it brings different cultural practices to place, we learn from each other and we benefit from one another. She explained the need for protocol bodies to be in place for the international students to sort out certain problems they may face like immigration issues or issues pertaining to their stay here to make life easier for them.
