BU WINS THE MUSHROOM FOUNDERS AWARD In recognition of her contribution to the promotion, growth and development of the mushroom industry in Nigeria, Babcock University has been awarded with the Mushroom Founders’ Award.This came up at the 1st National Mushroom Week and Awards organized by the National Mushroom Growers, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria (NAMGPMAN).

The three-day fiesta held at the Abuja International Conference Center attracted stakeholders,captains of industry as well as government representatives. Besides the awards presentation, the Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development , Dr . Mohammad Mahmood Abubakar and the Hon. Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Niyi Adebayo, among others, gave keynote addresses. The programme also featured roadshows, tours, mushroom testing and exhibition of mushroom products.
