Preamble

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step, and not just a step but the right one taken in the right direction and at the right time.

As a globally active and relevant educational institute, Babcock University offers excellent opportunities targeted at the overall development of our students, hence, the need for making our “Career Fair” a major annual event.
At Babcock University, we produce top-notch graduates, many of whom now serve/work in enviable capacities with local and international organizations.

It should interest you to know that the Babcock University Career Fair creates a solid networking platform that encourage industries and enterprises to be involved and exhibit their programs and services on our campus. While this affords participating organizations and reputable academic institutes to get a glimpse of the quality of our young talents, it allows our graduating students to have one on one relations with them in return, which mostly earn them future careers and internship opportunities; a relationship that many employers are glad to have made.

Most success-driven corporation strive to identify with us. This we know by virtue of the numerous goodwill that we enjoy with our alumni, stakeholders and the general public. We are sure to experience such with you and your organization too.

The 2020 Career fair is a one week event scheduled to hold from March 9 to March 13, 2020 in Babcock University Sports Complex. This is indeed an opportunity for you to be a part of the Babcock Experience, a reputable institution creating quality individuals whose presence adds nothing but value.

Our Mission

God and forging excellent relationships that last through time have been some of our secrets, and those relationships have benefited both our graduates and their employers and have even gone ahead to strengthen our brand the more. Judging by feedbacks from some participants at the last event, our 2019 Career Fair was a success and we are determined to make the 2020 event a greater one. To this end, an estimated cost of Seven Million, One hundred thousand Naira (N7,100,000) is expected to execute the planning of this coming event. Sponsorship of this event is open to corporate organizations and individuals.

Diamond- N7,100,000.00 (Seven million, one hundred thousand naira only)
Ruby-        N2,500,000.00 (Two million and five hundred thousand naira only)
Emerald 1-   N2,100,000.00 (Two million and one hundred thousand naira only)
Emerald 2-   N2,000,000.00 (Two million naira only)
Sapphire – N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira only)

Depending on the selected class of sponsorship, your organization stands a chance to enjoy some or all of these benefits:

Display company’s name and products on the event’s banners and program brochures

It will be wonderful to have you be a part of this event. You/your company/organization would be granted a platform to showcase your products and services to over 12,000 students and other community members. Our graduating students and alumni are really looking forward to having you and/or representatives of your organization on our campus.

Participants will have the opportunity to relate and address our teeming student population about their services and products. With our warm and receptive students, you can be confident of massive consultations at your booth, and of course, a huge patronage.
You will have the rare opportunity to hiring fresh minds from a very reputable institution.
Should you be willing to explore other career opportunities, arrangements can be made to organize aptitude tests for interested members of the graduating students. Provision for this however is subject to early notification and available slots.
For participating academic institutions, this is an excellent avenue to meet with our products and to feature on some of our special programs.

Organizations are welcome to register their interests in being a part of this program either by calling Umahi, Joshua on 07064637363 or via email to alumni@babcock.edu.ng before February 20, 2020. This is to enable the Alumni Relations Office prepare and confirm your notice/reservation ahead of the event. The amount and mode of payment for registration will be communicated during the process. This year’s 5 day career fair is going to be an eye opener for you and your organization. Be rest assured to have a refreshing Babcock Experience!
