PHILOSOPHY OF DEPARTMENT 

The Bachelor of Science in Physiology programme is designed to train scientists in an atmosphere of intellectual quest and individual creativity to equip them for research that will ensure wholesome contribution to the health industry.

 VISION STATEMENT

 To put in place not just an undergraduate programme but graduate programme and be relevant to modern day research needs. Desire to move with the trends and advancements in Medical Sciences and pay attention to Medical Sciences not only from the angle of curative research but also preventive research.

About Us

AIMS/OBJECTIVES 

At the end of the programme, the students should be able to:

1. Demonstrate detailed knowledge and understanding of the various aspects of Physiological Science as to be able to contribute positively in research and total person care. 

2. Apply their knowledge and skills to the solution of theoretical and practical problems in Physiology. 

3. Appreciate the expediency of Physiological science in industrial, economic, environmental, health and social context

Admission Requirements

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Prospective candidates for the programme must have five Ordinary Level Credits or equivalent

in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in not more than two

sittings. In addition candidates must sit and pass the Babcock University screening test (written

and oral).
